Which schools are still accepting more admission applications?
A few resources to check out:
– Boardingschoolreview website has a search feature that might be helpful.
– SAO website has a “still accepting applications” feature.
– Search here on CC in the past for posts where people discuss schools that accept applications late
– EMAIL some schools and ASK. You would be surprised how many schools DO accept a “second round” of applications in the spring in order to fill any unmet school priorities. So email with a very brief description of the student, so they can see immediately if they might fit a gap in the student body.

I have heard the New Hampton Scholl may be despite it being past the deadline

Many schools that do not have a high yield can be in the position of taking applications between now and August. These schools can be quite good but the popular plan B if one does not get into the GLADCHEMS schools. Northfield Mount Herman, Pomfret, Governors, Cushing, New Hampton, Holderness, and more… It is quite busy right now in admissions offices - but you can call and get an understanding on how open they are to taking last minute applications.

I believe it will
matter if you are full pay or need financial assistance. The FA budgets will most likely be depleted in the first round.

Anecdotally, I think NMH is pulling apart from that group in terms of admissions and yield. I wouldn’t count on them taking any off-cycle applications nowadays.
