OK, thanks to all of the wonderful parents on here, I have decided that I do need to get my PE in ECE and civil because of the large amount of public work. I am still contemplating something though. I will be graduating with a BS degree in biological sciences in December before heading off to finish the last year or two of engineering school for ECE and civil. I could go to graduate school in biology in January 2007 while I am finishing up my BS in civil part time. The problem is, I don’t know if I should even get a masters in biology or not.

I want to ask something regarding this:
What benefits are there to getting a masters degree? What benefits are there as applied to biology? The main benefit I see is getting to take graduate level classes that I did not have time to do during undergrad, but is this good for a career to get a masters degree?

Thank you for your time and input.
