Still Doing the "Environment" Essay - Help? Please?

ive written three, and thrown them all away. i am just mentally blocked from writing anything effective in this essay

does anyone, anywhere, have any words of wisdow for this essay???

i need some help big-time!

Umm… I’ll just say that I went through a couple of “Germany” essays which just didn’t work, so I dug up an old essay about working on guitars that i wrote for a writing class in my high school, and fixed that up and sent that in.

Sometimes just completely changing the perspective can work. If you’re really set on writing about the environment, maybe write about a different part of your experiance, and that might work better.

I haven’t read your essay, so this next bit may not apply…

Starting with an antecdote (sp?) is a good way to get a flow going and also to not seem like a boring list of ideas. I wrote about a mistake i made and how I eventually went about fixing it, and fit in details as background. they were all there, but the main theme was the story which kept it interesting.

i think the admissions people would rather read a story than a list of, “I’m so great, i did this, and this, and this, and this…”

no idea i am last minute as well

by the way, i’m an idiot- i though you meant a common app essay about the environment.

still…
