Okay, so I applied as a Canadian student. However, I live right on the US-Canadian border, and it literally takes less than 10 minutes for me to cross into the Detroit Michigan area. I’m sure that there’s at lease one Yale alumni interviewer in the Detroit area, but I’m not being contacted because the admissions office don’t know that I can travel to Detroit easily. I’m probably being grouped together with the international/Canadian group and not with the Michigan group for interviews. Should I contact the admissions office to let them know that I can easily go to Detroit for my interview?

Also, when I had my Princeton interview, I had to travel 2 hours to London, ON. For my Harvard interview, I traveled 4 hours to Toronto, ON. My Harvard alumni interviewer told me that there’s a lot of Yale alumni interviewers in the Greater Toronto Area. I have no problems driving 4 hours for Yale. Should I contact the admissions office to tell them that I am willing to travel to Toronto as well?
