<p>Are strong still lives the most important component of a portfolio? My strengths in my portfolio are pretty much in my figure/portrait drawing and surreal paintings… Just wanted to know if I needed to work on the still life aspect more</p>

<p>theyre all about figs. still lives are good too though, you might as well get good at them, but ive seen accepted ports with almost exclusively figure</p>
<p>If your strengths are in figure drawing and surreal paintings, I’d say stick to those when it comes to portfolios. Don’t put in a weak still life just for the sake of including a still life – At least that’s what reps from various schools told me at Portfolio Day.</p>
