Still looking like angels . . .

DS and three friends (all freshmen) crashed here last night after spending spring break exploring the West in a tent. Apparently there was a need for regression after a week on their own–I earned raves all aroung for roast chicken, potatoes and peas–“I’ve missed home-cooked food.,” They all said. (What was left of the fudge cake went back to LA with them today.)

Last night they lay on the family room floor and played board games.

They had promised to help me with some heavy chores (I’m a single mom) and said they’d be up early. The first one emerged at 11:30 am. As they ate brunch, one told me that it was the earliest he’d gotten out of bed since high school.

If any of the these charmers is yours–they all still looked like angels as they slept on the pull-out couches in the living and family rooms (especially the one with the very blond, very curly, and very long hair). Will I still think this when they’re 50?
