Still possible to transfer if you really messed up during freshman year?

Doing good:
In high school I was a straight A student in honors courses and got ahead with some AP credit.

Downward turn:
sem1 of year1: 1A, 2B’s, 1C, 1F, 1W
sem2 of year1: 1B, 4F’s

Recovery:
I took 3 summer courses and got A’s in all of them, but they were at a community college, so it didn’t count toward GPA.
sem1 of year 2: 5A’s
sem2 of year2: 5A’s (I’m finishing sophomore year right now, but I’m confident this will be my grades)

Assuming I keep my trend of being a straight-A student (with maybe 1 B), what are my chances of transferring to UT Austin as a CS major? I plan on applying to transfer early Junior year.
If I have ruined my chances to transfer, do I still have decent odds at even getting a job after graduation? My poor first-year grades concern me, but I’m too stubborn to give up.

Also, I participate in band, volunteer, and participate in a club on campus.

I guess the real question is: can I recover from a major failure freshman year?

What’s your current cumulative GPA and what’s your GPA if you do get those A’s this semester?
Where would you hope to transfer to (and what’s your current college /why do you want to transfer beside a clean slate GPA -wise?
