I think most phones have a program that can play whatever white noise you prefer.
As we are in the midst of massive fires, I have ordered emergency supplies for each of our kids for their stockings. Small plug in rechargeable flashlight, collapsable lantern, and small portable battery operated radios to start the list. We have had trouble with power over the last 3 days, and our iphones have not been connecting to the internet so we have at times had trouble finding out what is going on. The kids who are not in our area will probably make fun of me, but the one who is local and has been evacuated will totally agree.
@takeitallin - I’m feeling the same way. I ordered each of my kids a headlamp before the fires started and this morning thought I should get them a solar collapable lantern.
I just canceled that. Good point. I’m getting carried away. Need to be done.
Lol @ams5796- I have been running everything by my husband, who is brutally honest. It is so easy to get carried away with all of the fun things that are available on the internet!

I think I’m going to get that white noise thing for hubby. He has tinnitus that can flare up really badly and white noise is something that helps him.

I do love those chocolate oranges. One of my sons loved them as a little boy. I think I have too much stuff though. lol
mini disco ball you can plug into your phone (I think I got it at American Eagle), camera lenses for iPhone, karaoke mic for iPhone, makeup, nail kit, socks with funny sayings (Blue Q socks on Amazon), nail polish, extra long charging cord. For guys: multi-tool key ring, socks, men’s body wash, small reading lamp with clamp–men are harder to buy for, in my opinion.
I was looking for a “gag gift” of sort for my 16 year old nephew - something small to go along with the $$$ I’m giving him to go towards some composing music software…many “gag gifts” are raunchy…but then I found there are some Mad-Libs that are NOT adult in the raunchy way…
I bought some funny note pads for the kids last year. They were 18 and 20 yo at the time.
Search for “Guajolote Prints” at Amazon to get started. I got sucked in looking at all the notepads, ToDo lists, message pads, etc.

@abasket have you used the Zoodle spiralizer? Does it work on other veggies or just zucchini? My grocery store has zucchini noodles and sweet potato noodles (using the spiralizer TWICE would pay for itself, those pre-spiralized veggies are so expensive!), but wondering if sweet potatoes would be too dense to work in this gadget.
I like bombas sock because they come in sizes instead of the one size fits all (which I’m not a part of). Smartwool socks come in sizes and my D says that stance socks are the thing to wear at her gym and come in sizes.
@Nrdsb4 , Thorlos sells socks for men who wear sizes 13 - 15. My DS likes them. I remember buying some XL socks at Kohl’s a few years ago, but don’t recall the brand.
Ok, so the stance socks come in sizes but the men’s don’t go that large. Which is ridiculous.
But lululemon has socks that come in large sizes.
