@1214mom , look on the Archie McPhee website. Lots of great sunscreens.
@melvin123 we have an emergency escape ladder just like that. It’s in my daughter’s closet. Luckily, she’s never had to use it, but I’m glad it’s there.
@melvin123, I saw that ladder and wanted to buy it. Our master is in the back with only one way out and it’s on the second floor. Dh rolled his eyes and asked where we’d store it as it won’t fit under the bed nor is there space in our longer, more narrow closet. We better never have a fire that traps us in our master…
@collage1 I wonder whether there’s some kind of rope that you could buy for this? Harder to use, but in an emergency I bet you can do more than you think you can!
Thanks for the emergency escape ladder suggestion @melvin123 . My daughter and son-in-law bought their first house this year, and this will be a good gift since the bedrooms are all on the second floor.

I just used it and it works! It expires Dec. 21st.
Don’t they recommend storing an escape ladder by the escape window? I can’t imagine lugging the box out of a closet and unpacking, while there’s a fire. (I also think you’re supposed to try it out, before an emergency.)
From Archie McPhee, ordered my friend (who says she’s been clearing out her house for the last two years (not) to move to her 2nd home) a St Joseph “sell my house” kit. Ever hear of those? You bury the little status and I don’t know what else you do, but it’s supposed to bring a sale. (Magical thinking, but she’ll laugh. And, I hope, use it.) Dirt cheap.
Dellivery ahead of schedule and I got the free order bonus glow in the dark mini rubber chicken (ha!) Now to figure what to do with the chicken.
^^^I’m laughing at the “dirt cheap” comment because that’s where St. Joseph goes - buried in the dirt!! (head down I think!)
Lol, abasket. She’s not a hoarder but burdened by too many family things that went to her, not the siblings. What she needs now is some trinket of the patron saint of clearing out a house. Or the patron of EBay sellers, since she’s listing things there.

Thank you for posting both links to the Target Beauty Boxes.
^^Thank you @raclut !!! I got last month’s for my two D’s, and meant to order this one for DIL - now it’s only $5 instead of $7 - I’ll take it! I ordered 2, the maximum and will give one to DIL and one to my goddaughter along with a nice gift card - it’s the perfect little “something to open”. Free shipping too - why not!?
@abasket Don’t forget to use the coupon inside before it expires. $3 off.
I too ordered one for $7 but my daughter liked it so much she took it. This one is for me.
Great way to sample travel size products.
I got my son some truffle salt for his stocking. He can’t eat soy or msg so I try and get him some seasonings each year in his stocking.
My daughter likes to do facials, etc so there are quite a bunch of those single use packets out there.
one+two - thanks for the Tile link. I ordered a 4 pak and it came with individual gift card pouches with instructions so that they work perfectly for stocking stuffers (and I get one for me too!). I’m impressed by the company’s thoughtfulness. I see on the site that they only have 8 paks left.
My minimalist son and his gf were very pleased with their mostly household supply stocking stuffers. The only thing they left behind was the Toblerone bars. My aunts daughter couldn’t get over the size of my son’s stocking.
Thanks for the Lumo light. I bought those and my husband really likes his. The kids plan to use them on the way to the bus stop and then on the bus to read.
