I don’t. It was about 4-5 inches long, and a square shaped bar. It was metallic red or blue, and had some weight to it (not heavy but not plastic-lite either). I think it cost about $20
Thank you for replying @twoinanddone . We’ve had good luck with Anker products from Amazon, but I don’t know if they are considered top quality or not.
Anker chargers were the most durable chargers we’ve bought.
I bought one of those charger tassel charm things for my bag, and kiddo stole it!
I’m making my list
You guys have awesome ideas!
@momtogkc, I had to check and see if you might be one of my kids.
Toothbrush, chapstick/lipgloss, candy, scratch offs are all my regular stuff. Now I often put in a small gadget of some sort - mini whisk or spatula, RFID credit card or passport sleeves, emery boards, eyeglass cleaner cloths.
Am I the only one thinking, too early? I’m trying to enjoy autumn.
I have a long list for D2 already, but almost nothing identified for D1 or SIL, and they are all visiting over Xmas. It is not too soon. :((
Candy corn, pumpkin spice stuff, caramel apples, skull rings?
>:)
Watched one of the last Anthony Bourdain episodes filmed in the Philippines. There they pull their Christmas stuff out and display it proudly on September 1st!
Clamdy Canes, Mac & Cheese Candy Canes, Santa Pigeon Tree Toppers, Giant Googly Eyes for Christmas trees … that Archie McPhee store (post #2) has some weird stuff! :))
I have had good results with Jackery portable phone chargers.I have had one for 3 years and it it is still going strong. I recently bought another one, this time with built in charging connectors. http://a.co/d/ezVfY2Z << that’s the amazon link
Here is the charger link referred to in post 30 in a less abbreviated format:
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Jackery-Bolt-6000/dp/B01A6L85CC/ref=sr_1_26?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1538893064&sr=1-26&keywords=portable+phone+charger
Enjoyed the Archie link, thanks.
^ Me, too. I forgot to say in my previous post that my sons will love the Archie store!
The wine toppers (in case folks don’t finish the entire bottle of wine) are nice. Also, the little wine charms that you can put on stems of wine glasses so you can tell whose drink is whose, as long as they remember which charm they are.
I always give my D and S some underwear. They don’t think it’s “exciting” but appreciate that I buy it and they can use their money on other things.
@doschicos- Oh I’m not thinking about Christmas yet, just posting about it! :)) Actually, I’m lying - I did buy one Christmas present last week. I went to Orchard Hardware which is going out of business and saw one gadget that wold be good for my mom, it was on clearance so I figured I would grab it bow since she is so hard to buy for.
@mominva - If you were mominma I might be worried!
@HImom a suggestion…ditch the wine charms, and get wine markers. Folks write their names on the wine glasses and it all washes off with regular dishwashing liquid. Folks around here have ditched wine charms (plus they don’t work at all on stemless wine glasses). BBB has them.
I think I just might get wine markers for one of my kids!
Someone mentioned sewing kits - this is a nifty and small little thing that holds 25 colors of thread, braided together. The photo doesn’t show the edge of the braid, but it’s loose there and lets you choose one thread to wiggle out of the braid. So useful for that random color that you don’t have and need a little bit of! And just $4.50.
greenwitch - I got that for my S and DIL last year (and bought one for myself). We have all used it so much! Great gift. You might add a lighted needle threader and some random buttons. Going to get some wine markers for sure.
That’s a very cool and useful gift! I may get it too for the kids. I have a big sewing kit so don’t need it myself.
