NY Ranger tickets and Concert Tickets (Thinking Florida Georgia Line/Kenny Chesney) into kids and wife stockings. It’s like a gift to myself as well.
I’m all about getting people gifts that they’d never get for themselves because they are sort of $$ for what they are. These are some of the things I’m getting my DD for the “ small things” nights of Chanukah that could work as stocking stuffers.
Slipsilk hair ties ( she’s a nurse and anyways needs hair ties) . https://www.sephora.com/product/small-slipsilk-scrunchies-P431718?skuId=2184000&om_mmc=ppc-GG_1918210005_73516274547_pla-418542340533_2184000_353513009992_9021435_c&country_switch=us&lang=en&gclsrc=aw.ds&ds_rl=1261471&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrZ-2vffi5QIVA8NkCh0X3g4DEAQYASABEgJn2PD_BwE

@maya54 - My Ds and I have switched to the silk hair ties and we all really like them.
We do socks, gift cards, lip balm, candy, bath stuff/cosmetics, hand sanitizer, chargers/phone accessories. Always looking for new ideas so love this thread.
Oh and kudos to all you early shoppers as I’m the one buying last minute and wrapping on Christmas Eve…lol.
Dd is getting new car tires this week. I think I will put a little matchbox car in her stocking to remind her!
Both kids will get a small amount of candy, some fruit, and a couple of gift cards in their stockings.
Not much will be under the tree…DS and DH are getting a day brewing at the local craft brewery, DD got the tires.
I should be the only one with a real gift under the tree!
@Cheeringsection I can’t believe the shopping season is here so fast again. But tomorrow I think I’ll stop in Trader Joe’s and look at the stocking gifts. We’ve had the chocolate caramels, yum. Every year I put the same tissues, socks, toothbrushes, candy, gift card from somewhere and apple/orange in the toe. I grew up with that so I continued the fruit. Love reading all the ideas here!
I found the best thing at Trader Joe’s over the weekend. An advent calendar for cats! They also have one for dogs. Of course I got one for my two kitties.
Because I got the flu shot this year, and ended up with pneumonia this whole month:
The assorted hand sanitizers from Bath and Bodyworks (will be huge this year for us this year) with the little holders, some of the holders light up.

Pulls out phone and starts typing a Note labeled “Stockings” LOL.
With three now college age boys who would prefer not to get practical stuff I usually do lottery tickets, Starbucks/Dunkin/Smoothie place gift cards and candy. And always a Lego minifigure. We live in the south and one is a freshman at a northern school and one is going abroad to a cold climate so I can do hand warmers, warm socks, hats, etc. this year for those two. I also found a mustache comb for one. Marshalls has become one of my favorite places to find small gifts like that.
Zulily has some fun Smashbox stuff on sale right now.
Trader Joe’s has washable paper wine toes with handles for $2.99. They look like: DIABO Washable Kraft Paper Wine Bags with Handle
Zoku pocket straws! They even come with a cleaning brush.

^^love that!!
Guajolote Prints has some fun notepads.
I picked up a few colorful felted wool trivets for stocking stuffers at Trader Joe’s. $4.95
“Dd is getting new car tires this week. I think I will put a little matchbox car in her stocking to remind her!” … @thumper1 - if she does not already have a tire guage, that could work too. (PS - new tires to keep a kiddo safe is a great idea, we’ve done same)
Those Zoku straws look eerily similar to vape pens.
For reusable bags, I love these STASH IT bags https://lovebags.com/products/stash-it
@colorado_mom she has a tire gauge which she uses. Her stocking stuffers will be useful things. Some new spatulas, gift cards to her two grocery stores, a gift card for gas, and a few candy bars because she likes them. DH will toss in some CLIF bars too.
DSs stocking will be similar. But no spatulas. We get him new dish towels so he can toss the old ones. And he will also get a couple of gift cards…probably Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s because he likes both for different reasons.
After reading another thread, perhaps I need to put some kitchen sponges in the stockings this year
@BunsenBurner I have one of those Baggu keychain totes and love it. So pretty and inexpensive.
