Has anyone attended or know anything about the summer program? I’m very interested in attending this summer and was wondering if someone could share their experience.

My daughter did a semester there her senior year and one summer lived with a girl who did the summer program. Everyone including my daughter loved it. It really teaches you acting for film and T.V. She even got material for her reel from scenes she did there. If you are interested in being a film or T.V. actress it would be worth while.

My son did the Stonestreet beginner’s screen acting workshop last summer. He applied directly to Stonestreet rather than through NYU. (It costs twice as much through NYU but you get college credits. He didn’t need the credits.) It is five weeks of intensive training for film and TV. There are two late nights per week for meeting industry people. He had a fantastic time and made some very good friends and professional contacts! Many of the students were Tischies fulfilling some of their college credits, but others were international students and independent actors. It was a nice mix. I recommend you visit the Stonestreet Studios website for more information. Highly recommended!
