Does anyone know if they are still accepting? Would let me sleep at night lol
Did anybody get into the honors program? If so, how were you notified, email or mail? And when were you notified? Did anyone get any scholarships? Did the scholarship notifications came with the acceptance notification into Stony Brook?
@honeylop - You will see if you look through the threads that some people have received acceptances to the Honors Program and to WISE. I havenât seen anyone say anything about the Scholars program so far. I believe these acceptances come by mail.
And yes, my son received scholarships. The notification was with his acceptance.

Well, Congratulations to everyone that has gotten in you deserve it. At this point, I just have a sinking feeling now that I didnât get into the one college I wanted to :(.

Just got notification that I was accepted into the University Scholars programâŠfeels like they just poured salt in my wound because they are not offering enough financial aid for me to attend 
@ciara2021 did you hear about university scholars email or regular mail? My child has similar stats as yours and also got nothing in aid except for loans from UConn as wellâŠ
@borgdoctor I heard through an email, they sent it tonight. I got aid from UConn, as well as Stony Brook, just nowhere near enough

Yes I didnt fill out an extra essay either. Maybe we are talking about two different things. I am a freshman and mine is for University Scholars. Thats different than Honors College. Im really not sure but I know I didnt do any additional essay either other than the one for regular decision.
Its funny, I just got my acceptance, but I didnât see the acceptance first. The first thing I got from SBU was an email of the invitation to admitted students day. After receiving that I checked my portal and saw that it changed to look like I had been accepted, but I still wasnât âofficially acceptedâ because under Application Status it had said that they were still processing my application. Only after a day was my page updated to reflect that I have gotten in.
Just posting this here to let people know that this might also happen to them. I also would like to find out if this happened to anyone else before me. It was a quirky happening.

First update in months. The processing message has now become one paragraph to state that my application is processing. Iâm literally shaking and crying just praying that Stony Brook lets me in.
