I have a few new tabs (for new students, campus info). Got this update at around 8 pm last night. Also, it still shows that my app is processing and that has been condensed to one paragraph, like others have stated. Hoping the new tabs are a good sign. I know Chris might not see this till Monday but I was wondering if there is something wrong with my solar. It seems to recognize me as an already existing student and this may be because I already created a solar account before I applied. Is this a problem? I am not already a student and I’m applying for the fall of 2017
@Wrenkelly did you volunteer at the hospital by any chance? My ID was the same as my solar ID. And are you a HS student or transfer?

Nah I’m applying for freshman year. Did not volunteer for a hospital. Btw, waitlisted decisions started coming out. My friend got hers and I have a suspicion I’m gonna get waitlisted too. Good luck to all!

I checked my portal, and it now says, “Thank you for choosing Stony Brook University. We look forward to you joining the University community.” I also received an emailing telling me to sign up for Admitted Students Day. I’m assuming that I got in, but I still haven’t received the official acceptance email.
Welp got rejected. Kinda bummed they sent me a rejection this late when all my other friends got the rejection a month ago but whatevs. Good luck to all who got accepted!

DS’s decision came through last night via email — rejected. But he was accepted for Spring '18 at Binghamton which is his first choice so he is happy .
I havent had a desion, come through yet,
I have a 2.8 GPA
1220 SAT (2016)
Was financially and academically viable for EOP,
sent in all my documents and still haven’t heard back.
Any thoughts?
My solar only says,
Thank you for applying to Stony Brook University. Your application is currently being processed.
Your To Do List, located on the bottom left of your SOLAR homepage, will display items which are currently needed by the Admissions Committee. Items already received will not appear on the To Do List. Documents sent within the past two weeks will not appear as received. Once items are received, they will disappear from your To Do List. Please be patient and allow several weeks for processing before contacting the Admissions Office to check on the status of an item already sent.
Is it still possible for me to get it through EOP before April 1st? It hasnt changed for over a month.
