Hooked: Deaf (no judge please) and 1st generation.
ACT: 21 ( I know I did pretty bad because when I was small, I wasn’t able to hear well (Deafness) My grammar sucks so is my english) I’m retaking in this October.

Freshman: 3.5 GPA (89 average) Clubs: robotics & ASL aka American Sign Language

Sophomore: 4.0 GPA (97-98 average) Extracurricular: Government council; Vice President for freshman/sophomore year. Sports: JV basketball queens champion semi-finalist, played ping pong table tennis outside from school & Indoor Track team. I won the 1st champion 2 times in a row for Nassau County Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged.

Junior: 3.76 GPA (94-95 average) Clubs: Honor National Society, Arista Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Robotics Club for two year & ASL club. Community Service: Helping a kid on Career Day, taught little kids in elementary school for scholars, volunteering at hospitals, and did internship at Wall St for short time. Sports: Indoor Track & Volleyball Varsity team.

Senior: I’m going to be a senior this fall, however I’m taking AP Biology, AP Calculus, Advanced Syracuse Government, English Honor, & Gym.

Essay: I’m gonna write about how I’ve overcome my weakness and many obstacles to become successful in life. Like how many people think I won’t succeed in life just because I’m “deaf & dumb” I have the motivation to show them that I can do what they can’t.
Teacher recommendations: Two recommendation which are great
Counselor recommendation: Excellent 10/10

Will I get into Stony brook, UB, & Penn State?

I think you have a good chance! Everything seems good, except for your ACT score. Have you tried the SATs? I know people with 1700s who got into Stony and UB. Good luck!

Your ACT is below Penn State’s 25th percentile. (Look up the Common Data Set.) So I wouldn’t count on main campus unless you get it up.
