January 9th, 2005, at 4:00 p.m.
Battell Chapel - Yale University
New Haven, CT on the corner of College and Elm

BECKY NATHANSON (me) will be singing Adele’s Laughing Song from Die Fledermaus with the Greater New Haven Youth Orchestra. Notorioustemo (tema) will be playing the Mendelssohn violin concerto, I don’t know which one, too. And there will be Shostakovich.

Didn’t Mendelssohn only write one violin concerto - the one in E minor? Anyway, have a great performance, I wish I could be there. It’ll be great to see Yale-bound (I’m being optimistic! There’s still hope!) musicians like you, Fiddlefrog and Andi’s son. But sigh, I’m stuck in this part of the world. (Hope that’ll change in half a year…)

Yeay, Becky, the girl with the absolutely AMAZING voice! To quote Smokey Robinson during his stint as a guest judge on American Idol, “This girl can sang!”

Becky, I really wish we could come!! Alas, school event that day. S loves Shostakovich; wrote about him in his essay!! But more importantly we would loved to have heard you. Do they list you as frecklybeckly on the program ?:)

wmgan I’m going to hold on to that vision- frecklybeckly, you, fiddlefrog and my son doing music at Yale next year. It will help get me thru until April.

because the yale campus ROCKS.
I’m getting shipped back to school that day, but if I can delay to go to the concert, I will! if anyone else goes, let me know and we’ll meet up

OK EVERYBODY, THIS IS IT! TOMORROW, 4 PM, BE THERE OR BE SQUARE! I EXPECT YOU GUYS TO FLY IN FOR THIS - I’M HAVING A DRIVER MEET YOU AT THE AIRPORT
