storing boxes if dorm both Summer and Fall

UT Housing is allowing students who live in on-campus dorms both during summer session and during fall semester to store sealed boxes “in a safe place” in Duren or Jester.

"You may store a limited number of securely sealed boxes in a locked, shared storage room in Almetris Duren Hall. You will need to provide your own boxes, seal them and write your name on each box before you arrive at the storage room. Your boxes may occupy a total of 9 square feet of floor space. (For example, a box that is 3 feet long and 3 feet wide would occupy 9 square feet.) You may stack your boxes in order to minimize floor space, but you must be able to take down the top box while you are standing on the floor, and the boxes must be completely stable when stacked. Our staff will not accept storage boxes that do not meet these requirements. We do not recommend storing valuable items and will not accept responsibility for these.

We will have 60-minute un/loading zone permits available.

Since we are preparing all of the halls for Fall Mooov-in, this is the only option we are able to offer for storage. If this does not meet your needs, we recommend contacting a local storage facility."

You can leave things for storage as early as Friday Aug 15 at 9 a.m. and everything must be removed from the storage area by the day before classes start.
