Straight A's Thread

I’ll join! I WILL TRY my hardest, but last year i tried and still did poorly in my math class, anyone else’s parents refuse to help them with homework, refuse to get them a tutor, and have a teacher who… well no offense to him, he’s really nice, but can’t teach? Yeah, bad year for math, but better teacher this year, so I’m shooting for ALL A’s!

Yes, I really will try my best this time. No, actually who am I kidding, I get straight A’s by procrastinating not by trying hard.

I might have one A-. Can I still be in the club? :)

Report cards!

Engineering the future (H) 96
Applications of Science (H) 98

All As. :)

your quest is noble, so i shall join.

new 9 weeks report card

honors spanish 3…flat 90 (dangerously close. hopefully gets a bump from tomorrow’s vocab quiz, which i will actually study for today, instead of the period before like i normally do…)

darn math.

haha, I lose, just as I predicted.

PreCal- A
AP Chem-A
AP Lang- B
Newspaper- A
AP Phys- B
Gym- B
Drama- A
AP World - B

Hmm… Well our first 9 weeks was over a while ago (like 2.5 or 3 weeks maybe?)

My report card was…

Chemistry: A
Accounting: A- [ ;( ]
US History: A+
English 11 CP: A
Spanish III: A
Pre-Calc: A, second highest grade in the class, 6 points different between me and her over the whole 9 weeks. (as in 98 on a test vs. my 92 or something)
Yearbook: A

So I broke my all A no A-'s… but I also got an A+ so I think that should make up for it, so Im still in!

What are you guys grading scales? For me, 93+ is an A. (No + or - for us)

It really depends on the class for me…

Usually an 89.5-92.4 is an A-… a 92.5 and up is an A, and it depends for the A+…

sports med - A.
anatomy - A.

i dont know my college grades yet.

I’ll join! This shouldn’t be too hard at my grotesquely grade-inflated school.

I’m in. (10 char)

Sure. I usually don’t make promises I can’t keep, but who cares at this point?

I’ll join!
Yup, that’s how it is for my math class. Teacher that really doesn’t help at all, parents aren’t helpful, and we can’t afford a tutor :frowning: Math is also not my best subject. But I expect at least A-, because our grading scale is pretty nice and I’m willing to work hard at it :)

Umm basically… I may be kicked out of this club :(. I’ve bombed (c or worse…) 2 tests the past two days… It’s really bad, I may get to retake one and get some credit back on the other but it’s sad…

sure. I just finished my first quarter and I got straight As :). Know I just need to keep it going.

okay guys- just got an A in precal- AND it’s my birthday. double-yay!

No wayyyy it’s my birthday today too :]]]

I am so down… i would have all A’s this quarter but i passed out during the second of two physics tests that count for the quarter and obviously failed it. The teacher didn’t care. I would have had an A though! Can I come?

DAM IM SO CLOSE. all As and 1 B in algebra 2. Can i still join ?? lol or are u guys really specific. HAHA
