Hi, my experience is pretty strange but I would like to know if I have a chance at top 10 MBA schools.

I originally go to engineering program at the University of British Columbia (top 5 in Canada) (Vancouver, Canada) and during the summer of my first year engineering, I started running one of those student painting franchise. I did really well and broke a lot of records.

At that time, Home Depot wanted somebody to initiate and operate their Home Depot At Home Painting Service for them in Greater Vancouver Area. So I ended up being the regional director of it running 5 stores at the age of 19. After running the business for two years, I wanted to finish my degree in BBA so I quitted the job. Currently, I am studying to finish my undergrad and probably get around 80%~ 83% averages while running my own paint/decorating contracting business. It’s doing pretty well and we have 5 locations. Im serving on Chamber of Commerce in my local area and very involved with non-profits in the community, mostly involved with growing youth leaders.

I don’t know if that experience is valued at Harvard or Wharton and if not what should I improve so that they will notice me?
