Strange GPA situation

My grades for the first quarter are as follows:
APUSH- B+
AP Physics C- B+
Hon. Religion 3- B+
Gym- A
AP Literature and Composition- B+
AP Calculus AB- B+
Hon. Chinese 3- A
The grading scale at my school gives me an unweighted GPA of 3.2 but on a 100 point scale I have a 92.75/100 (that’s still a B at my school as a 93 is the lowest A) which when brought down to a 4 point scale is a 3.71/4.0. I’m wondering how I can get this second number to show thorough.

You can’t convert your 100 pt. scale GPA to a 4 pt if your school doesn’t keep track of grades on that basis. It’s not appropriate to self report your grades in a way materially different from what your transcript will show. You can choose to self report your GPA or not in your applications, as you see fit. Either way, don’t worry about colleges missing the fact that you’ve done fine with a tough load of courses. Colleges will review your transcript closely and will understand how you performed in each class.

How do you get 92.75 being a 3.71 on a 4 point scale? If it is still a B+ at your school, then it should come out to whatever a B+ ends up as on their 4.0 scale. Each school uses its own scale, and reports that scale along with your transcript.

Does your school report a weighted GPA? If so, it’s fine to report that, but if the only GPA they report is the 3.2, then that’s what you report. Don’t think they won’t notice that almost all of your current grades are B+, even if they are in AP classes.

Your school will report your GPA with a School Profile going into detail how it works, and your grades will be converted to an unweighted GPA at most selective colleges, on a scale where they can compare you with most everyone else. But they work with what’s reported. You should get a copy of the School Profile so you can see what the colleges see.
