Strategies for the slow reader

I have read many strategies for the reading section, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for slow readers. All I have time for during the reading section is to read and answer the questions to 3 passages and then completely guess on the last passage. Obviously this does not allow for a very high score (around 26-28 at most if you get all 30 questions right you had time for.)

jaredririe, I know how you feel… lol I had to completely guess on the fourth passage,
that’s why I find the SAT’s reading section a LOT easier (and less boring :))…

I had a watch by my side, but yet,I am unable to complete the entire section…lol

any strategies?

Start with passage types that you are most comfortable with first, and do the ones you are less comfortable with last. Even though I got a 25 on the reading section, I wouldn’t have even gotten that high if I didn’t follow that strategy.

Also, you should start reading more books to increase your eye speed, this will help dramatically on the test.
