Alright, before I explain my situation, my schedule for next year is as follows:

AP Biology
AP English Language
AP Calculus AB
Latin V (for college credit)
Greek II (Independent Study)
Economics / Public Affairs (for college credit)

My question is, how much will taking AB instead of BC hurt me? I wanted to take BC, but it’s the same period as Latin V and skipping Latin isn’t an option (I want to be a Latin teacher). I’ve been told that I COULD independently work toward the BC test, but I really don’t want to unless it’s absolutely necessary. This year was crazy enough with a significantly lighter workload (only 2 APs and 1 college credit).

Thanks for the advice. And I’m not looking at U Chicago just because I really want a small school. I’m looking at Bryn Mawr, Wellesley, Barnard, Smith, Haverford, Dickinson, and Hillsdale (Safety).

Hey, I am going to be a senior next year. Hell yeah seniors 08!. I wanted to know if u see any weaknesses in my senior year schedule. Thanks
1)AP Calc AB
2)Goth Lit/Fairy Lit
3)Ethics/Law
4)Marketing
5)AP Physics
6)AP Physics
7)Lunch
8)AP Euro
9)Free
THANKS ANY COMMENTS WANTED!

Your schedule looks fairly strong, with the possible exception of English and Foreign Language. If your school doesn’t offer an AP English, then yours will probably be fine. If they do though, your colleges might wonder why you chose something else. I also notice that you don’t have a foreign language, which always looks good. If you could put one in ninth period, I don’t think it would hurt.
