<p>Is it going to be a big deal if i “stretch” an essay topic? i have a really great essay i used for Stanford but seeing as NU’s own essays are fairly specific is it ok to slightly stretch it to fit the prompt? Do they just want to get to know me/ read my writing or do they want a very direct response to the prompt?</p>
<p>if you do it, just make sure it doesn’t look like you are recycling essays</p>
<p>Why don’t you use common applicatoin which NU just started to accept? Then you don’t need to change anything (unless common application has some specific prompt that I am not aware of).</p>
