Strong hold hair gel that doesn't build up?

<p>Has anyone found a hair gel that holds curly hair and defines curls without puffiness? Every hair gel that I try builds up and flakes in my hair which looks like dandruff!</p>

<p>I use the Garnier Frutixx(sp) mousse. Or the Herbal Esscence Totally Twisted mousee. Great hold, no hassles.</p>

<p>I use the Garnier Fructise light gels. They have a new one that is even lighter–Clean and Pure? Or Pure and Clean? And they do not flake.</p>

<p>I need a strong hold gel because my hair looks great when it is wet but dries all puffy and frizzy!</p>

<p>I use Fruit of the Earth (FOTA) aloe vera as hair gel to bring down the volume of my straight, coarse, super bushy hair. No smell, and it doesn’t flake. If you don’t like it, you can use it on sunburns and other skin problems!</p>

<p>Try Matrix Biolage Gelee. I have very course dry looking thick curly hair. It also looks great when it is wet, but when it dries, it gets huge. The Gelee really helps.</p>

<p>Try mixing something like L’Oreal extreme control hair gel with the new John Frieda spray oh product that will keep your hair relatively controlled and straight for up to 3 days.</p>
