Hey guys, I am currently a sophomore at the uw. I have been very happy with my experience at the uw until this quarter. My GPA up til now is a little higher than a 3.7, but this quarter has been very difficult. My major is biochemistry, but this quarter, I decided to take CS for fun. Unfortunately, this was a very bad idea, as I hate cse. It is making me very depressed because I have neglected my other classes in the process(Ochem, biol). I have no idea what I will end up with grade wise this quarter, but I am sure it would be very bad. I just want to pass, but I feel like I have no motivation. Should I withdrawal? Is there anything that I can do.

If you know you are going to get a bad grade, and CS isn’t really relevant to your future or course scheduling, and the class is distracting you from working on classes important to you/your major, then yes, withdraw.

Yeah, drop CS. If you keep it, the grade will come back to haunt you later if you plan on graduate school or medical school or something.
