I had a dismal high school life I dropped out. Moving right along I then got my GED. Now enrolled at Suffolk County Community College I’ve taken Algebra I and received a C. Then things got much better and I received an A in Algebra II. (for me that was huge I never though I could receive an A in math let alone any Algebra class…) then comes Pre-Calculus… boom brick wall. Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I can follow along, but I just don’t seem to reach that ‘aha’ moment where I get it. Is it me or the book lol… am I actually not that good at math at all… ugh any advice would be great… I keep trying to persevere by buying books like

I’ve tried tutoring and it works when they explain it… but I can’t get comfortable practicing it on my own… without feeling like i’m missing something.
If I can get to Calculus I feel like the door will be wide open for me. I am fighting to be a CS Major one day. (lol if I ever get past precalc I and II I guess…)
I’ve also tried Khan Academy, thattutorguy.com shrugs I’m beginning to feel defeated.
Thanks for reading
