<p>Speak to the FA office and see if it can be waived. Since Yale is already generous with you, it goes to reason that they’ll want to spare you of additional fees. I never remembered it ever being mentioned.</p>
<p>I believe it is optional. I do not think it will affect your yale scholarship.
For some reason, we still pay for this fee all these years. We just think DS enjoys these activities so much and money should come from somewhere, and we think we are willing to pay our fair share if we can.</p>
