Student/Adult Ratio in Boarding School Dorms

This is a question from my parents. How many students are there typically for each adult living in the residence halls at a typical boarding school?

The only example, I could find was Bement school, where there is no more than 10 students per adult. I am pretty sure Bement is for younger kids though. What is the rate typically for students in grades 9-12?

It differs from school to school, and in some cases there are wildly different sized dorms on one campus, but at the 2 boarding schools I’ve worked at the average is around 15-20 kids per adult living on the dorm. I have no idea how typical this is of boarding schools in general.
