There is no medication that would be given to a teenager to stabilize them in an ambulance that would affect an embryo or fetus. Nor do I think a coach would send someone to the nurses office to print out a copy of my scanned health form in a life-threatening emergency. (If it’s not an acute emergency, the school would call me, not 911.) If my daughter were pregnant or underweight, this would be discovered through medical testing in the hospital.
I do not mind if you don’t believe me, but my husband is an MD, and he thinks it should never be mandatory to disclose menstrual status to the school district.
