<p>The data is probably all from the same source, meaning it should be consistent and from the same year. If we nitpick and change one school at a time then we would be making the data inconsistent. For example, I just checked the admission data for 2007 at Mudd and it is actually 690/740 as well, not 680/740.</p>
<p>im confused…some people have stanford way above duke, but according to collegeboard.com and atomicfusion, duke is higher in terms of SAT scores all across the board?</p>
<p>Duke has higher SAts than Columbia Brown and Penn.</p>
<p>My take: SATs are good for gauging the general area of where a school is ranked (top 1o or top 25), but not that useful for head-to-head comparisons between very similar schools (ie Duke v Penn v Columbia v Stanford).</p>
<p>There is a difference between incorrect data and data that is a year or so out of date. MIT never had the stats posted. The last 3 years have been 680/760, 680/760 and 690/740 for the 25th percentile.</p>
