Hi
I’m curious, is which college we go to private? Will other students know which college we are enrolled in?

don’t believe so. dean’s list is posted online and majors/schools are posted publicly. then again, people will know once they know your major (and “what’s you major?” is the most asked question ever), so there’s really no use to hide it…

so what about Division of General Studies???

Will other students know if I am in DGS and undeclared?

Who cares…are you planning on lying about what school you’re in…

Aklauss-my thoughts exactly!

No but I already did…

Lilrock-just tell them the truth as there is no use living a lie! Plus they are bound to find out the truth anyway.

Yeah but I mean like what do I say if I’m asked what my major is…

“I haven’t decided yet”

How about “I’m currently completing my general education requirements, and plan to focus in” … business/engineering/x/y/z (pick one).

Going into freshman year undeclared is the most common “major.” There’s nothing to be ashamed of at all. Most of the people that you talk to in the beginning of their freshman year will end up changing majors anyway. Not many people know exactly what they want to major in right away.
