<p>Hi, this is my first year in college, and i was wondering for someone to help me and show me guidance on what do i need to succeed to get accepted to UF. i got accepted to SantaFe College witch have direct connect with UF, but im not attending at that college at the time. Im attending IRSC (Indian River State College) at this time but will like for people to give me the proper guidance to get into UF.</p>

<p>Santa Fe does not have direct connect to UF. You have the same chance of getting admitted as you do from IRSC. What major are you interested in studying?</p>

<p>business is my major. Im trying to make the right decisions because i don’t want to fail. I kinda drop out of HS but i went to Continental Academy and graduated with a HS diploma.
so should i take 4 years in college since i dropped out and it looks bad. the big question is what should i do and what steps should i take to get accepted…</p>

<p>Complete your AA and the required seven prerequisites. You will need at least a 3.0 overall GPA. You also need a 3.5 or 3.7 GPA(if applying Fall 2014 or later), in your prerequisites.</p>

ACG 2071 Introduction to Managerial Accounting
CGS 2531 Problem Solving Using Computers
ECO 2013 Principles of Macroeconomics
ECO 2023 Principles of Microeconomics
MAC 2233 Survey of Calculus
STA 2023 Introduction to Statistics </p>

<p>Use the link above to determine what equavelent courses are available at your school, if they don’t offer any of the above seven classes.</p>

<p>UF is competitive, so the other requirement is a high GPA (especially in the prerequisites classes).</p>

<p>Get your AA, take all of the prerequisite classes and keep your GPA high.</p>

<p>For Business you need the AA degree, 2 years of a foreign language in high school or 8 semester hours in college, and the prerequisites for the college which are</p>

<p>One last note, you also have the option of applying to UF’s online program (Business is one of the initial 5 majors being offered). The requirements to transfer are much lower (as is the cost).</p>

<p>As a transfer student, you may find this option appealing. </p>
