<p>Last night I went ahead and confirmed my enrollment… it asked for student ID number… I dont ever remember getting one, or maybe I’ve lost it . But the number and format of the numbers tells me its just your SS number right? It went through and everything, but Im just trying to make sure</p>
<p>yeah…it is ur SS number…if u r still unsure then goto the application status site (“where am i in the process”)…u’ll be able to see “Deposit Receipt” there…u’ll also be able to check when they sent u the welcome package…</p>
<p>Yes, most places where Student ID number is requested, it means your SSN. However, in a few rare situations something sounding a lot like “Student ID” is requested, but what they actually want is your card ID, which you can only find out after enrolling, by looking on Student Information On-Line. It’s very weird and annoying.</p>
<p>They might be changing that eventually though, since next year’s ID cards will have student #s on them (according to the card contest e-mailed to students) and that would be a security concern. You can of course get it changed, but its a pain.</p>
