Student income on fafsa?

This year I worked the entire year and earned almost 10,000 reported on my w-2, but when I filled out my fafsa, it didn’t ask me for my income. It only asked for my parents’. Should I do something about this? On the SAR it “assumed” that the student did not file a return and made no Income. By the way my parents are low income and it gave me the option of skipping some questions about my parents on the fafsa. (which I did),

If your parent’s AGI is below $31k plus they meet one of the other criteria (file a 1040a or ez, dislocated worker, receive certain means tested benefits etc), you are eligible for the automatic 0 EFC calculation. If you were eligible for the auto 0 student income and assets are not considered. Depending on your state you are allowed to skip those questions if you qualify for auto 0 (some states you still have to report the information though it still does not impact your FAFSA EFC).
