<p>Is this a trust? or not? It’s not savings account or anything…but IDK how to claim it on the Profile or FAFSA</p>
<p>We can’t really tell whether it is a trust based on the information you have given. it will be an asset on FAFSA. What type depends on how it is set up. If it is in your name it will increase your FAFSA EFC by 20% of it’s value unless it is in a college savings (529) account.</p>
<p>It’s partially in my name. I know my name is somewhere on the account, but I don’t have control over it(my grandmother does)…It’s not a 529 either</p>
