<p>About student loans, can my parents or a close relative (my uncle, for instance) apply for the student loan in my name? Excuse my lack of knowledge on this matter, but school will begin soon and I son’t even have a credit card, which , I assume, must be required for eligibilit. Also, does anyone know the best plan to obtain and from where? Also, how long the process takes?</p>

<p>Look into Federal PLUS loans. A parent with a good credit rating can borrow up to the full cost of education.</p>
