Okay so I attended Art Institute of Pittsburgh online edition, and flunked out because my computer wasn’t working with the programs they said I needed. I couldn’t get a new computer because I had no access to my loans to by school supplies. I still have $1023 under my name, and this was back in 2014, I have been having money problems lately. I am curious if I can keep using them if I go back to school (at a different school), these are federal student loans. $1023 I never used at all and they are asking me to pay it back to them. This is the full amount I was given for my online classes for Photography, I never used a penny of it and they are asking me to pay them back, even though I didn’t use it.
It is not a student loan you are paying back but a bill from the school. If you didn’t complete the semester, they have to cancel the student loan. If you didn’t withdraw quickly from the school, you could owe them tuition from the class you dropped.
It is unlikely you can enroll in a new school while owing another.

??
Then where is the money sitting? Or was it spent on tuition?
