<p>My financial aid package did not include any grants, so i’m guessing I didn’t qualify for those. However, I still want to pay for my family contribution of ~$4000 in student loans. What are some good student loans for that?</p>

<p>you should be able to get an unsubsidized stafford loan
however you can only borrow $2,600 your freshman year.
However you should also be able to earn roughly $3,000 summers to contribute to expenses and a campus or even off campus job can earn you $1,000-$2,000 to cover books and personal expenses.</p>
