<p>Possibly urban legend - but I believe it to be true. Just heard about a student who wrote his main common application essay on his admiration of Tiger Woods and how he looks up to him as a role model, etc. Student is now completely freaking out! After havign a good chuckle, we assured the friend of the essay writer who came in with this story that their friend would be fine - colleges won’t judge him harshly for writing about Tiger Woods, pre-debacle. Just thought it was a funny scenario.</p>
