Students Camping Out To Protect Joe Paterno Statue

"A couple of students have started to camp out in tents and watch over the Joe Paterno statue at Penn State. The sign says ‘Protect the Paterno statue’ …

… "This comes one day after a plane flying a banner flew over Penn State stating ‘Take the statue down or we will’ "

I’m really indifferent about this whole statue thing and I’m a Penn State student. Here we have a man who inspired students to become leaders vs. a man who apparently knew about this scandal since 1998 and did nothing. I’m afraid that things might get out of control and violent between these two fractions.

clap clap clap

An example of some of Penn State’s finest right there.

I thought you were a Columbia student. Why is your name Columbia 09? My name is MrBladder because I always have to go to the bathroom.

Cause he gave them a quote? Talk is cheap. His talk is the cheapest of them all. Not even Subway $5 footlong cheap. I’m talking about Burger King dollar menu cheap.

There were two students, one tent. The police came and escorted them away, and nobody has replaced them, nor has there been any attempt to.

But you can bet this will be all over the media, giving the impression that a large number of students were involved.

Again. That’s 2 people. Also, they are not supporting pedophilia. Neither are they supporting a pedophile (NOTE: Not my opinion, just their point of view). They are supporting a person who has done a lot of work for the university’s football program, and nobody can take that away from him.

Having read the Freeh report, I have to say, evidence both favoring as well as condemning Paterno was limited at best.

Anyways the police came and escorted them away.

“They are supporting a person who has done a lot of work for the university’s football program, and nobody can take that away from him.”

And Ted Bundy worked a rape crisis hotline, and nobody can take that away from him.

It gets to a point that the bad someone does outweighs ANY good. Knowingly allowing the rape of children to continue … not too much good you can do to outweigh that.

Again: Not my opinion. Just what the fanatics think.
