<p>Princeton University has achieved a top-10 ranking and secured a place in the final round of the ONE Campus Challenge, it was announced Monday. The aim of the competition, sponsored by the ONE campaign, is to mobilize student activism in the fight against global poverty. The Princeton ONE Campus Challenge chapter beat more than 1,000 other American universities for its place in the top 10 and is the only Ivy League school to reach the finals. </p>
<p>The ONE Campus Challenge (OCC) was launched last September by the ONE campaign and is the organizations first initiative aimed at college students. ONE is a nonprofit organization that seeks to raise awareness of the issues surrounding global poverty and encourage U.S. political leaders to increase funding for poverty-fighting programs.</p>
