<p>Is this really a “viral” poem? I have never seen this posted or discussed on social media. The Buzzfeed post of the poem you linked to has received very little attention. A quick Google search of the poem brings up practically no results. Without commenting on the content/material discussed in the poem, the writing is nothing astounding. I think your title is over-sensationalized and misleading. This doesn’t look to be a viral poem at all, and this topic has been discussed ad nauseam in other works with far greater eloquence. </p>
