Study abroad: Admissions Pro or Con??

I’ve been studying abroad since highschool due to parent’s job. Currently undergoing college abroad as well, but want to transfer to the States. I dare to say I have very good grades (2.8 out of a 3.0 scale), but then again Admissions Officers are the ones that establish how worthy your current education is in comparisson with american standards.

Although I cannot change my education so far, I would like to know your opinion on how my education abroad would be considered for admissions. I have spoken to some recruiters that have actually said it was a big plus (gives you perspective, and all the pro’s that come with study abroad), also because I’ve attended fully-accredited private catholic institutions. But these recruiters aren’t really from any school I want to go to, so I wouldn’t really know how much my studying abroad could represent a pro or con in my app.

And in case you consider it to be a Con, how would you make it into a Pro?

Thanks
