<p>My DD is a sophomore dance major and has the possibilty of studying next summer in India. Three dance majors are chosen per year and some of the costs are covered. We will be responsible for $3000-4000 if she is chosen to go. I think it is an excellent opportunity for her, she will learn more advanced Indian dance while also having the chance to teach Indian children American style dance. It is for a month this summer. Does anyone have any experience with a program such as this, her university has sponsored the program for many years. I am terribly ignorant about India, I totally confess, so I am trying to learn as much as possible. The program would be in Southern India. Any thoughts, advice, etc would be wonderful. My DD has been abroad twice, to Europe so totally different and never on her own.</p>
