<p>I am looking to study abroad at Kenyatta University this summer. There is a exchange program at my university, Virginia Tech, that allows this but this will the first trip so it’s a little unsure of details. I would pay $1,350 for the summer session cost and then additional money for plane and I think flat rate for housing (unsure), how much is the average cost of a plane ticket from Philadelphia to Nairobi, Kenya where Kenyatta University is. What’s everyone’s opinion?</p>
<p>I went to South Africa to study abroad in July & my round trip plane ticket was around $2000…some people paid as little as $1500 and some people paid as much as $3000…so sometimes it really depends on when you buy it and who you buy it from, so you definitely need to do some research.</p>
<p>It’ll probably be around the same price as I paid…maybe a little less since I flew out from California, but I think it would be around the same. Go to a site like expedia or travelocity and enter the information and see what the general prices are for around the time you’re leaving so you can get an estimate. That’s really the only way to know.</p>
