<p>My daughter had been accepted to the UC program for this fall in Paris. She got an email today stating that since she is now taking French 5 she has had too much French and is ineligible for the program. She is upset as she has friends going and we have booked an apt to visit her, etc. She needs to find another program for this fall 201o in Paris but preferably in English. She wants to continue to study French but does not want to take al of her classes in French. Any suggestions?</p>
<p>If the program is hosted at a French university or a French school, she could enroll directly in the school or university program. A lot of French universities have international programs for foreign students – they are open to all foreign students from all over the world. Most students go individually. The US students are the exception–they go in groups, and they pay a whole heck of a lot more.</p>
<p>Find the host school in Paris. Look it up on google. If your daughter’s level of French is “too high” then it’s probably an language-based program, i.e., “learn French in France.” </p>
