Study Abroad Program? / Film Production?

You’ve basically answered your own questions I think, especially regarding study abroad. Pitt also has a bunch of scholarship programs set up for study abroad through the [Nationality Room program](Welcome to the Nationality Rooms | Nationality Rooms). I assume you are already familiar with the [Pitt in London](http://www.abroad.pitt.edu/pantherprograms/pittinlondon/spring.html) program and other [UK options](http://www.abroad.pitt.edu/programs/europe.html#ukengland).

Pitt is definitely better in film, mainly because of its collaboration and arrangements with [Pittsburgh Filmmakers](<a href=“Pittsburgh Filmmakers :: Find best hotels”>http://www.pghfilmmakers.org/), which is where you’d do your film production training at Pitt. Pittsburgh has a much more vibrant arts and culture scene than you’d get in State College. It’s just the difference between a major city and a college town. If concentrating on schools in Pennsylvania, as suggested above, Temple may be worth a look as well.
