<p>I don’t think either school is really your best choice.</p>
<p>If you want to work in film, the obvious options are Cali and NYC. </p>
<p>However, if you don’t like those options, I suppose Pitt would be better than PSU. With a city environment there are more “Artsy” stuff goin on and probably a bigger pool to network in.</p>
<p>I’m not sure if it REALLY matters where you get your degree for a subject like this, but it’s obvious that Cali and NYC are going to have much better opportunities for internships, networking, jobs, ect.</p>
<p>But, I doubt it matters that much. I know two people that were VERY successful in TV production at a very early age (22-25). One went to RIT and was a MIS major, the other went to PSU and was a Poli Sci major. The former is an on air TV personality and does alot of production work behind the scenes, the other is a produces daytime TV shows in NYC.</p>
<p>You may also just want to look into Art/Film schools. Check out the Pittsburgh Art Institute, I know they have film and production courses, and I’m sure Philly has other similiar schools.</p>
