<p>Many universities in the US (many of the universities I have applied to at least) offer various study abroad programs which allow students to study in countries all over the world.
Are these study abroad programs offered by US universities open only to US citizen students or are they open to international students as well?</p>
<p>The programs are usually open to all students regardless of citizenship. If you are on fin aid, however, it’s the university’s choice whether to transfer your aid to the study abroad program or not.</p>
<p>Most colleges make the financial aid portable.</p>
