I know that “you can go anywhere in the world”, but is study abroad open to everyone? Do you have to have a certain GPA to go for a semester? Also, do they offer financial aid? How much?

Thank you!!

Some programs require a certain gpa. The hardest ones to study abroad at are Oxford (3.85 to apply) and Cambridge (3.6).

what if I want to go to australia?

I studied abroad at the Australian National University which is the highest ranked, but not necessarily the best Aussie university. If I remember correctly the minimum GPA was 3.0 with some departments requiring higher. I don’t think that any required over a 3.5…I’d guess that the U of Melbourne and U of Sydney would have similar criteria. If you go to Penn then I would recommend one of those 3 since they are generally considered the three best universities in the country.

And for Oxford and Cambridge the required GPA varies from college to college. Usually it is 3.6 or 3.7
